Need something to warm you up this season? Pumpkin Chili! A warm hug in a bowl and a pleasant whiff of autumn!

Ingredients

  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 sweet onion
  • olive oil
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 15oz. can of kidney beans
  • 1 15oz. can of black beans
  • 1 15oz. can of diced tomatoes
  • 1 15oz. can pumpkin puree
  • 1 6oz. can tomato paste
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/4 cup Armbar hotsauce
  • 1 tbsp. Garam Masala
  • cheese
  • dark chocolate
  • cilantro

Instructions

  1. Saute diced onion and minced garlic in a pot until onions are translucent.
  2. Add the ground beef and cook until brown.
  3. Drain the kidney beans and black beans and add it to the pot.
  4. Add diced tomato, tomato paste, water, pumpkin puree, garam masala and hot sauce. Stir the pot, cover and let it simmer for 30 minutes.
  5. Serve the chili in a bowl. Top with cilantro, cheese, and a chunk of dark chocolate for added richness.
