Mapo Dog
A Sichuan-style mapo pork hot dog, spiced with doubanjiang and ground Sichuan peppercorns, topped with crispy onions, scallions, and a drizzle of D’arce Chili Oil.
Ingredients
- Ground pork
- Doubanjiang (fermented chili bean paste)
- Ground Sichuan peppercorns
- Garlic, minced
- Ginger, minced
- D’arce Chili Oil
- Salt
- Crispy onions
- Scallions, sliced
- Hot dogs
- Hot dog buns
Instructions
- Sauté garlic and ginger, then add ground pork. Break it up and fry until fully cooked.
- Add ground Sichuan peppercorns and doubanjiang, mix in, and let cook for a few more minutes until fragrant.
- Assemble the hot dog: place a hot dog in a bun, top with mapo pork, crispy onions, scallions, and a drizzle of D’arce Chili Oil.
