Mapo Dog

A Sichuan-style mapo pork hot dog, spiced with doubanjiang and ground Sichuan peppercorns, topped with crispy onions, scallions, and a drizzle of D’arce Chili Oil.

Ingredients

  • Ground pork
  • Doubanjiang (fermented chili bean paste)
  • Ground Sichuan peppercorns
  • Garlic, minced
  • Ginger, minced
  • D’arce Chili Oil
  • Salt
  • Crispy onions
  • Scallions, sliced
  • Hot dogs
  • Hot dog buns

Instructions

  1. Sauté garlic and ginger, then add ground pork. Break it up and fry until fully cooked.
  2. Add ground Sichuan peppercorns and doubanjiang, mix in, and let cook for a few more minutes until fragrant.
  3. Assemble the hot dog: place a hot dog in a bun, top with mapo pork, crispy onions, scallions, and a drizzle of D’arce Chili Oil.
